Enough Is Enough: "It could be worse", "It's all in your head", "Don't be so dramatic". You may have heard one or more of these statements from strangers, friends, and even your own family. That's what makes having a mental illness so difficult. You feel like no one cares, or is willing to hear you out and be a shoulder to cry on. We are automatically deemed needy or dramatic, and incapable of getting through stressful and challenging situations. Over the years, mental health awareness has gained more following and popularity with many organizations. Even then, not much progress has been made in the effort to promote this subject.
